Entering Taitung, it feels like the clock has been misplaced, ticking away particularly slowly. "Daughter’s Tea" - what a poetic name. In their tea room in Lu Ye, we sip delicious organic red oolong tea, while admiring the expansive rice paddy fields. Together with the presence of the shop owner's little cat, it seems like nothing else in the world matters.

I have a great appreciation for the young "daughter" proprietor. I had noticed her Facebook page a year or two ago, wondering if she was just beautiful. However, from the introduction of her products to owning her own tea room, she has consistently modernized, rejuvenated, and brought style to the image of tea. From the tea room's design, product development, to the tea menu presentation, she has incorporated marketing techniques from coffee and wine, showing that this young person should not be underestimated.

Seeing her red oolong tea selection, I couldn't help but think, "Wow! Red oolong tea can have so many varieties: fruity, honey, roasted, acidic." It's as if she's transformed a single type of tea into several, reminiscent of whisky, where different barrels produce different products, each with its own following.

It's evident that she is dedicated to passing on tea culture with intelligence.

Tea tasting here may not be my personal favorite tea ceremony experience, but the owner, "Daughter," personally brews a pot of tea for you to savor slowly. She also introduces the tea's characteristics well. Those who enjoy immersing themselves in their own space, not wanting to be disturbed, should be very satisfied.
