How long has it been since we truly connected with nature? Tasting tea indoors in a tea house, we bring the plants onto the tea table, allowing everyone to experience the beauty of nature. But what if we could experience the tea ceremony in the tea garden itself?

When the weather is clear, we can take a stroll in the tea garden, observing “two leaves one tip” sprouting from the tea trees. In the natural ecological environment without pesticides, you need to avoid spider webs from all directions. Or, you might suddenly notice an anthill on a tree.

This is a tea area located at the junction of Jinshan and Shimen on the north coast, once glorious during the Japanese colonial era. Its black tea was even offered as a tribute to the Emperor of Japan. However, with social transformation and population migration, the tea gardens in this area have gradually fallen into disrepair.

Over a decade ago, tea master Lee decided to return to his hometown to grow tea and began the work of rehabilitation. It took him three years to prepare the land and plant the tea, and it wasn't until the fourth year that he began harvesting.

Walking slowly in the tea garden is like traversing the history of tea cultivation in Taiwan.

Surrounded by large trees, the tea room here exudes an antique charm.

Inside, we can settle ourselves, listening to the sounds of insects, and quietly savoring the "Zhen.Pen.Tea.Yen” organic teas brewed by the tea master: delicately experiencing the purity of white tea, the rich flavours of Shimen Tieguanyin, and the sweet and smooth texture of Aliban black tea.

Who says low altitudes can't produce high-quality tea?

After tasting tea, it's recommended to visit the tea factory here. From picking, withering, twisting, to rolling and drying, they will explain each step, and seeing the equipment in the factory will deepen everyone's understanding of the tea-making process.

From the tender green plants to the tea in our cups, the wonderful journey begins in the tea garden.
